Sutton School’s Veterans Day Celebration

October 29, 2025

Sutton School thinks it is important to acknowledge the Veterans we have in our community. We do this by holding a small ceremony and enjoying a meal together to acknowledge the sacrifices our Veterans have made for this country.

Where: Multi-purpose room in the Sutton School

When: Veterans and family members may attend the Veterans Day lunch which will be held on Tuesday, November 11th.

Veterans and their families may attend lunch during any of the offered lunch block times:

  • 11:00am-11:30am 5-8 lunch block
  • 11:30am-12:00am 3-4 lunch block
  • 12:00pm-12:30pm K-2 lunch block

Ceremony: From 12:15pm-12:30pm we will hold a ceremony for Veterans in the Multi-purpose room. K-2 students will participate from their cafeteria seats as they eat their lunch. Students in grades 3-8 will be seated in the chairs in the front of the multipurpose room. During the ceremony we will acknowledge all of the Veterans in attendance.

Costs: Attending the ceremony is free of charge for all. The meal is also free to students enrolled in the Sutton School (or a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ school) and Veterans. Meal costs for all other community members will be by donation. There is a suggested donation of $5 for each adult who attends.

RSVP: Please fill out the RSVP form (electronic or paper) by October 30th if you plan to attend the Veterans Day celebration. Reach out to the school if you have any questions.
